During an outreach visit to Tema Community 11 Complex School, the EcoGirls Innovate team conducted an engaging STEM session that inspired and motivated the girls. While the students were excited and actively participated, the team noticed that many of them were fanning themselves because the classrooms were very hot.

The uncomfortable environment made it difficult for the girls to concentrate fully during lessons, and EcoGirls recognized that this was a challenge that needed immediate attention. After a month, EcoGirls Innovate returned to fulfill its commitment by donating 10 ceiling fans to the school.

The donation transformed the learning environment, making the classrooms cooler and more comfortable for both students and teachers. With a better atmosphere for learning, the girls can now focus more effectively on their studies and participate actively in class.

This initiative reflects EcoGirls Innovate’s belief that empowering girls goes beyond STEM education—it also means creating an environment where they can learn, thrive, and reach their full potential
